Dear colleagues:

I have received the following request from a school.

We are currently conducting a review of Technology Offerings and are
looking for schools that we can visit. Exploring contemporary approaches
to the delivery of technology 7-12 may help us in evaluating which of
the 3 options we may need to pursue.

1. Developing a Design Technology Subject that incorporates the
"hands on" elements of the existing technology subjects

2. Keep the exiting program and change what we are doing

3. Introducing ICT into the Year 7 & 8 program but have a more
multi-media approach which could be integrated curriculum with
English/Humanities/Health.

If you feel your school offers a contemporary, interesting approach
within the design and technology and possibly broader curriculum and
would be prepared to share information about your approaches with others
teachers, please email me tran.lorraine.i at edumail.vic.gov.au as soon as
possible, so I can pass on your details to the school.

Thank you and regards, Lorraine.
