EXCITING NEWS

Kangan Batman TAFE will hold its first Open Day at its brand new Centre of Fashion @Richmond campus on Wednesday 13th August from 5pm - 8 pm and on Saturday 23rd August from 11am - 3pm.

Interest in the new Centre of Fashion @ Richmond has been very impressive. Classes have now begun at the new facility with the number of VTAC applications made for our fashion courses more than doubling previous years.

Students have access to state of the art equipment and are able to see garment construction rooms which simulate industry workrooms, manual pattern making facilities, user friendly CAD system, theory rooms with interactive team boards, computer rooms with specialist programs, permanent catwalk and a retail shop with display windows for showing casing student work.

The facility was designed to be vibrant, relevant, open to hosting industry activities and operational seven days a week. A stone's throw from the Richmond Station, students will benefit from a facility built to support their needs in today's fashion and retail businesses.
