We install them on the harddrive as part of the image. Photoshop elements
that is.

We advise laptop users that wireless is not suitable for multimedia
applications.

We make cat6 fly leads freely available.

We're also lucky that we have a large number of network points
available.

Essentially we communicate that WiFi is a convenience rather than a
guaranteed service.

Cheers,

Jason Clarke

Call all schools which have laptop labs. Can you please share:

- how you cater for programs on laptops(eg Photoshop CS3) across the
wireless. Files are on the server

- what performance issues to look out for

- any recommended wireless infrastructure worth investigating

- any other things to look out for when going with wireless notebooks

Thanks in advance
