Hello Jim...
We are just turning OFF CD quickshare which metamorphosed into MA32 with a
price kick...
We find that "virtually" no CD's require this CD image fooling anymore and
the "legacy software" is rarely used.
We have also found that enabling the D drive to run executables has allowed
the same "freedom" to flash drives with all sort of executables to be used
!!!

All our CD collection is now online and runs from network shortcuts to "T"
drive where executables are allowed OR pre-installed on local machine.
No other executable locations are allowed and students are prevented from
installing any software.

Great to hear from you...

Does anyone have recommendations for CD-ROM sharing software? I'm thinking
of software that hosts a CD on a server (image, files or
whatever) and allows classroom PC users to have access to a CD without it
asking 'Please put the <wxyz> CD in Drive D'. I've used something years ago,
but it was not free, and I can't remember what it was.

rgds
Jim
