Interested in supporting schools through the ResourceSmart AuSSI Vic Initiative? Grant applications are now open.

There are two separate grant application processes:
1. Metropolitan Melbourne regions (Eastern, Northern, Southern, Western), will follow a competitive grants process.
2. In each of the five DEECD rural regions (Barwon South-Western, Grampians, Loddon Mallee, Hume, Gippsland), applications will be sought through an Expression of Interest (EOI) process.

The application deadline for both processes is Wednesday 7 March 2012. Full documentation is available on the ResourceSmart website<http://edm2.taguchimail.com/link/4805572/4a769226/c/9261/>.

Information sessions

Sustainability Victoria is holding a series of information sessions<http://edm2.taguchimail.com/link/4805572/4a769226/c/9250/> to provide details of the grants.

Each session will:

  * explain the grants guidelines, application process and expectations
  * outline the supporting documents available
  * outline the timeframes for the grants process
  * assist consortiums in writing their EOI (for Regional Victoria only).

Please note that the information sessions will not address the energy efficiency grants for schools or the early childhood pilot. More details on these elements will be available in 2012.

Who should attend

Individuals or consortiums of service providers who are interested in supporting Victorian schools through the ResourceSmart AuSSI Vic Initiative should attend.

If your organisation is considering submitting a grant application, you are strongly encouraged to attend.

Register your attendance

The information sessions begin on Wednesday 25 January 2012.

Consortiums considering submitting an application are encouraged to begin working on their EOI ahead of the information sessions.

View all session dates and register now.<http://edm2.taguchimail.com/link/4805572/4a769226/c/9251/>
