Kate will demonstrate resin-casting methods and discuss the materials and processes used to create silicone molds of simple objects. Gallery owner Karen Woodbury will also accompany Kate to talk about the relationship between artists and commercial galleries and the ways in which exhibitions are planned and displayed.<BR>

This session will be particularly beneficial to any VCE and tertiary students who wish to learn new skills, pursue a career in the visual arts and learn about the ways in which commercial galleries operate and display contemporary art.<BR>
