<p><span style="font-family:Calibri;color:black">Like Claudia I found students needed those intermediary due dates.&nbsp;I have broken the Unit 3 SAT&nbsp;up into three sections with due dates.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:Calibri;color:black">In planning their Gantt charts they needed those due dates and also needed to know when I would be covering topics in class so they knew the earliest that they could start that section of their Plan. I wonder
 how specific we can be about these dates. There has to be some leeway for the students to choose each task's beginning and duration.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

My students have handed in PM, and draft of data collection methods this week, data processing before end of term, draft of SRS first week back, complete SRS second week, designs end of May.<br>
Last year I had it all come in at end, and my students demanded incremental completion dates this year, many had done Informatics which had worked the same way last year and they indicated that was problematic as they needed more structure. With a small group
 (6) I was happy to collect all at the end but went with there request.<br>
<br>
But I have added 'low stakes' hurdle tasks along the way to help with learning, ie tests on PM, PMS, analysis, etc<br>
