<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">I&#8217;m finding it difficult to identify exactly what a
<i>software tracking tool</i> is/does. When I google it I&#8217;m finding information about
<b>tool tracking software</b>, software that allows you to track your tools and equipment. When looking at Adrian Janson&#8217;s text book it mentions packet sniffers and packet tracers but it doesn&#8217;t explicitly refer to them as
<i>software tracking tools</i>, in discussions with my Network Administrator he felt that they were probably being referred to as tools used for
<i>auditing</i>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
