Locking a file or record was as far as I went with coping with networked programming. Kids can be responsible for that within their little bit of code.<br><br>Managing a queue for access to files would, I believe, be beyond the scope of what is expected of students. Such control would have to be outside of their code, and be OS-dependent, wouldn't it?<br>
