<p>Budding IT Professionals are invited to apply for VITTA's 2010 ICT

Achiever Program. Students in Year 11 who are studying IT are able to

apply for this unique opportunity to undertake a fifteen day placement

in the IT industry, under the supervision of an industry mentor.

Students must demonstrate a genuine aptitude for their IT studies and

an enthusiasm for learning new skills. On completion of the fifteen day

placement, students can then participate in an Awards Ceremony and

receive a $500 Honorarium. The ICT Achievers Program is supported by

Multimedia Victoria and the Department of Innovation, Industry and

Regional Development. Senior IT teachers should encourage students to
