<p class=MsoNormal>After a great deal of effort (and with regret), we have had
to shelve plans for our Girls in ICT event that was to take place on the 30<sup>th</sup>
July. Our Careers in ICT Expo which is taking place on the 2<sup>nd</sup>
August has caused many of the issues – as it was competing with the Girls
event for exhibitors and presenters. Later this year the ‘Go Girl’
event will be held again at Deakin University, so it may be a better idea for
us to reconvene our event for early next year.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>On a positive note, our Careers in ICT Expo is shaping up to
be a very exciting event and I would strongly encourage all of you to put the
word out there – especially if you want to generate some excitement and
enthusiasm amongst your students. We have an impressive line-up of
presenters and exhibitors – not to mention – some great prizes on
offer! <o:p></o:p></p>
