Hi all,

Thought some of you might enjoy this peek inside the workings of a large
open source project.

The current Development cycle for Drupal8 is in full swing, with a code
freeze due towards the end of this year. In the meantime, developers are
using this window of opportunity to re-work some of Drupal's pain
points.

The link above shows some of the "workings out" behind a change to the
basic content creation form used by Drupal.

The plan is laid out in the post at the top of the page, then there's a
long comment thread, warts and all, as people weigh in with their
thoughts and concerns.

I thought it was a nice snapshot of behind the scenes action of an open
source project making a web content management system.
