I am having similar problem - Block Editor fails to load. Also, the website is not very reliable. On few instances, it has failed to log me in.

Hi All,
I have not made it that far with App inventor, but did buy a book about it
at Dymocks. Great intentions.
Have been out of the loop so need to know... Is App inventor an acceptable
SD programming environment/language next year? OR shall I stick to learning
Java (NetBeans) with an android SDK bolted on?

I was wondering if anyone had experienced any issues using app inventor (

over a school network ie via proxy server.
It works beautifully at home, but the Blocks editor fails to load the
project at school.
Any ideas?

I don't have teaching experience with Java, but with regards to Gamemaker, a
few places to start
. Nat Brawshaws tutorials - available from Vitta
. The GameMakers Apprentice - some good bookstores, or Amazon
. The official tutorails http://sandbox.yoyogames.com/make/tutorials
- my groups have usually done the first 4 in a term and then design their
own game based on a combination of those.
