[Year 12 SofDev] Sample Exam Questions

Hi Mark,

A long time ago ( yes, April 21 this year ) you asked the question below –
conditional vs declarative.

Along the same lines I wondered about extend/include ( in the 3 text books I
have used ) vs extends/includes as found in the practice exam.

In addition, the lines for include and extend are shown as dashed ------à
in most books but at least one book has it as a solid line.

I asked my lecturer friends whether they would penalise a thesis if it used
the variations mentioned above. The answer was no , because it is not a
programming language with absolute syntax and the meaning is clear whether
it is extend or extends just like if it is {is subscriber} or {if a
subscriber}

Hope that will let us all sleep better at night....... J

Kind Regards

Sorry, folks. Another one. I still have half a glass of Chardonnay left...

A trifling matter, but in the the 'Section C' UCD it says

<<extends>>
{is subscriber}

I've written extends as conditional rather than declarative, so I would've
written it

<<extends>>
{if a subscriber}

Does anyone have a preference?
Does anyone really care?

Mark
