VITTA VCE Day:  Friday 4 March 2011

Learn with us ~ the new 2011-2014 study design: Learn from experienced and talented teachers who outline the essentials of VCE IT. Paula Christophersen, ICT Curriculum Manager, VCAA will be speaking, as will teachers who explain how to design a course and build an assessment task for the Unit 3 and 4 subjects.

Learn what's new: This practical hands-on Professional Learning day will help teachers to implement the new study design of VCE Information Technology Units 1 and 2, Information Technology Applications Units 3 & 4, VCE Software Development Units 3 & 4 with their students.

Refresh what you already know: The presenters are an experienced team with expertise in the development, assessment and management of the VCE IT studies. This day will suit both teachers new to VCE IT and experienced IT teachers needing to refresh their approach or to incorporate new skills into the planning and delivery of the IT study design for 2011-2014. Come away with knowledge, skills and resources.

WHEN: Friday 4th March, 2010 9.00 am to 3.00 pm (registration and refreshments at 8.30 am)

WHERE:  Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre, 387 Bell St, Preston VIC 3072,  Melway Map 30 E1 (and easily accessible by public transport: Tram: Bell St / Plenty Rd) Note: this event was previously held at University of Melbourne. New venue due to renovations at the old one.
