Unit 4, Outcome 2, has the KK: "suitability of setting codes of ethics,
imposing sanctions, education programs and the use of decision-support
frameworks as strategies for managing ethical dilemmas."

Heya All,

 

Another question for Paula. I can't see anything referring to ethics in the
study design anymore!

I'm now wondering if ethics is still included???

 

Study Design: 

2007-2010 U3O2:

-legal obligations of programmers and ethical considerations regarding the
development of

programming solutions;

 

2011 U4O1:

-legal obligations of programmers.  (no mention of ethics).

                With this defined in the glossary as: "Legal obligations
that individuals and organisations have with respect to ownership and
privacy of information and the freedom of expression. Including the.........
Acts.

I know we all love covering ethical dilemma theory with our kids.  It's the
hardest part of the course for most kids; remember the 2008 ITA exam in
which the state average for the ethical dilemma  question was 0.35 out of 3
marks - 11%?

I've finally got around to gathering what information I could on this hairy
and wobbly bit of KK
