This should perhaps be posted to all edulists, www.edulists.com.au and
the www.VITTA.org.au website?
What do you think Kevork? Adrian?

I think your concern about use of your work can be covered by a simple
license, such
as one of the Creative Commons licenses. You could include the
following text in a README or LICENSE file alongside your other
materials.

Copyright (c) 2008 Adrian Janson. Distributed under the terms of the
Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-ShareAlike License
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/

Note that this particular license permits derivative works, and
insists that they be circulated under the same license (a viral way to
ensure that those who benefit from your work are also
community-minded). Another option is to prevent any modifications
with the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-NoDerivativeWorks
license
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/

However, this is probably too restrictive, only allowing someone to
use your work in its entirety and with no modifications at all.
