Phew. I also agree 100%.

My post mortem is nearly finished at
http://www.mckinnonsc.vic.edu.au/vceit/postmortems/2007sd/index.htm

I'm working on that devilish case study with the 2D array - quite a
shock for the kids, I'm sure. Many of my kids had trouble handling
single-dimension arrays!

Some feedback please - the algorithmic error is the initialisation of
ingredient_ID in line 12? I hope...

That leads to the test table hopefully being:

Qty 1 Expected 1.5 -- actual 0
Qty 2 Expected 0 -- actual 0
Qty 3 Expected 2.0 -- actual 2.0

An odd thing I hope someone can clarify for me. In the test data the
array indices seem to be reversed compared to the way they are used in
the algorithm.

It should be, for example Product_Recipes(1,3) [product 1, ingredient 3]
rather than the reverse.

My kids would not have had fun with that algorithm. It seems the
section A tended to be too easy, and section C too demanding.
