<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Hi Edulist Folks</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I would like to introduce myself. I am Peter Wakefield, Professional Learning Officer, at&nbsp; the Victorian Information Technology Teachers Association (VITTA). I have been fortunate&nbsp; in joining the dynamic VITTA team and
 look forward to developing productive relationships with teachers and students across the state.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">My role at VITTA is to develop Professional Learning in all sectors of education. My background is in Arts education teaching, branching into digital arts with early versions of Photoshop. I completed further study in
 digital media in the late 90’s and have designed and developed an Applied Design Education Centre in a secondary setting with ICT learning at its core. I have recently been the program manager at the Digital Learning Hub at Arts Centre Melbourne.
</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">&nbsp;I see ICT as a key element in all learning across and I am looking forward to playing a role in the development of ICT education, and feel privileged to be able to facilitate the development of my colleagues in education
 to achieve great outcomes for students in emerging and increasingly pervasive technology.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I am very keen to provide assistance with&nbsp; the professional learning needs of&nbsp;&nbsp; teachers and students and will continue to foster excellence in ICT education&nbsp; and look forward to developing strong relationships&nbsp; within
 this community. I would love to get feedback on all of&nbsp; professional learning offerings including&nbsp; VCE IT programs and all relevant areas in this domain.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">I am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.</span></p>
