Dear Colleagues, some of you may be interested participating for your professional learning in the upcoming national ACEC conference to be held in Melbourne in the next school holidays. Here are some further details.

ACEC 2010 - Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre - April 2010

1. One of the most exciting aspects of this conference is the number and variety of sessions to choose from. To help make your selection even easier, you can now download the program at a glance. Please note that this PDF is nearly one Mb and so may take a few moments:

2. You are ready to choose your sessions: Session Selection is now available!

If you already have a ticket, you should see My Program under myACEC on the website. Click that to choose all your sessions for the conference. You can pick and choose as you like, and can make changes until shortly before the conference depending on numbers.

3. T-shirt competition is now open! If you or your students haven't already accepted the challenge, please click the link below to get full details. Entries must be submitted via the the conference website by 21 February 2010 and will be voted on by conference delegates.

Read all about it here: http://acec2010.info/conference-tshirt

4. A special door prize!
There have already been door prizes for current delegates. Now a door prize for the delegates who register over the next two weeks, of a Blu-Ray Combo Burner valued at $300

5. Stop Press!
Matt Hetherington has been booked for the conference dinner! See link: http://acec2010.info/register

Matt performed in the hugely successful Australian production Shane Warne The Musical . He played the role of Terry Jenner, Warne's spin coach and the lead role of Shane Warne himself. Matt Hetherington is being tipped as the next big thing to come out of Australia. His extraordinary voice has earned him exceptional reviews from his live band appearances and his live theatre performances have placed him in high demand both in his homeland of Australia and overseas. He has spent the last 3 or 4 years traveling to the States to break into the American market.

More on Matt in future newsletters, but an excellent dinner has suddenly become a 'must attend' function
