The iPad is the individual's diary, contacts, email & (350,000) apps.</div><div><br></div><div>We encourage our students to charge them each night so the battery lasts the day and we recommend what apps need to be downloaded.</div><div><br></div><div>Many schools are looking at book listing them and the apps and replacing much of the annual stationary and text book costs.</div><div><br></div><div>We are still in a trial phase and hope to be phasing them in one year level at a time starting next year.</div><div><br></div><div>In relation to negatives with a hybrid environment - some saw virtualising Windows as a negative rather than dual booting.
