Dear List,<br><br>I am setting up Moodle 1.9 on a new Ubuntu server and am attempting to set up LDAP authentication with a Windows 2003 Active Directory. Previous set ups at other sites have used Moodle 1.8 to authenticate to Windows 2003 Active Directories with no problems. <br>
<br>When connecting with LDAP authentication activated, I get the error:<br>LDAP-module cannot connect to any servers: Server:
'<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="ldap://10.135.192.17">ldap://10.xxx.192.17</a>' Connection: 'Resource id #49' Bind result: ''<br><br>The usual trick of using Microsoft's ldp.exe tool to test the DN
settings and binding indicates the settings and bind user I am using
are correct.<br><br><br>Just wondering if anyone on this list has set up Moodle 1.9 with Active
Directory, and if any similar problems were experienced in doing so. <br><br>If anyone is interested I am happy to provide further debug logs or the current settings that are in use. I have tried to work through this one but the usual troubleshooting techniques have not quite helped.<br>
