Kevork,

I author about 10 questions in the GIFT format in notepad (or word then
saveas txt) then import to Moodle quiz all at one go. It is a very easy
format to read, use and share between staff.
    e.g. Can you read this question {=yes ~no ~huh?}
          And what about this question {=yes ~no ~still huh!}
Next then set the option to randomise the questions and options, and perhaps
add a penalty for second tries. Generally they see a page of questions at
one time although I can set it for a question at a time (and it is marked as
they go) Once they complete the quiz, they get to see the final score
although there are options to show a more detailed breakdown.
Generally they do a quiz once as a pretest so I can figure out their
understanding (and weed out bad questions) .. and again later on as an
assessment tool.

Regards Roland
