[Moodle] Image on moodle front page

I'm pretty sure you'll need to play in your themes folder! Do you want to
set up a banner or mount some sort of background image in one of the divs?

Does anyone know how to place an image into the moodle login page. Can it be
done without messing around with themes or incorporating it as a resource
