Information about your courses are kept in two locations. The first is the
data storage folder which is kept outside the web directory. Copy the
contents of this folder into your new server. The second is a bit more
tricky. Backup your MySql database and transfer this to your new
installation. Provided it is the same as the new one you installed with
your new version it should simply replace it.

Try experimenting with a dummy installation first to make sure it all works.

Subject: [Moodle] Migrating Courses in Moodle

Hello everyone.
We need to migrate moodle courses we have created from our old server
across to our new server.
The new Moodle is installed and works well.
The courses on the old one worked slowly but well.
Both Moodle 1.5.
How do I do it?
Ciao, Keith
