[Moodle] Site News - Moodle home Page

Go into "Site News" via the Main Menu box on the front page, click on the 
Update button and change the preferences. There are three choices:

"Discussions and Replies are allowed, No discussions but replies are 
allowed, and finally No discussions, No replies" I guess you want the last 
option.
