<div>I expect that students complete the practice Sac mostly out of class time and submit as homework task - that way they at least get feedback before the real thing. Generally allocate 2 or 3 1 hour lessons for prac. Mine get about 10-11 hours in total for
the Sac including running into lunch or before or after school depending on timetable. This takes just over a week but not two full weeks of classes. </div>
<div>This year I was able to block 4 hours on sport afternoon which worked well and am in the process of applying for that time again for U3 O2 and U4O1 in both Apps and SD.</div>

<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";color:black">I'm not teaching IT Apps this year either, but I used to allocate 4 X 90 and 2 X 45. It was a rush, and it extended more than once into an extra double period. It's a big chunk
of time out of Unit 4 and affects the amount of time that can be given to exam preparation. If you do a full practice SAC as well, that's almost half of Term 3 gone.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
