<br><b>The data given to students should not be normalised or presented in a form that gives big clues as to what tables are required.<br></b><br>This is not explicitly specified anywhere, and it's not included in the list of key skills, but the key knowledge dotpoints about students having to know normalisation implicitly suggest it.<br>
<br><editorial><br><br>The next editions of the study design's advice to teachers and the assessment handbook should make this task requirement clear and explicit. <br><br>There's quite enough to be mindful of when writing outcomes without having to interpret the implied subtleties of <b>every</b> key knowledge dotpoint. <br>
