service provider, when I questioned him at a recent conference stated that they
had duty to <BR>protect school students. I tried to argue that I had a duty to
educate them but that was the end of <BR>the argument. Another reply was that
our technicians could individually unblock sites that we <BR>wanted unblocked
but that is such a huge task. <BR>We only just changed over to this one and I
much preferred the old. However the decision was <BR>made by leadership and I
had no say in it.<BR>I find that if students are using these sites, I am
constantly reminding them of security issues, <BR>plagarism etc and they develop
an instinct and conscience, rather than experiment by themselves <BR>outside in
