I have built a PHP based wiki/blog/profile system here at narre warren south p-12,<br>a few classes are using the blogs as a 'journal'.. nobody has used the wiki yet, but hopefully soon.<br>and because we have it 'onsite' we have full control over the content,
<br>as in we can delete an entry then and there if it is innapropriate.<br>the 'profile' section is perhaps a little questionable, but better than the kids using the real myspace from school.<br>the newest feature is being able to include 'mp3' files in your blogposts, AKA podcasts.

Have started thinking about ideas for my next year's subject matters...<br>Will have IT from y8-y12 again and we have 3 new computer classrooms being built as I email this to the list..<br>Any course planners that got kids enthused that teachers would be willing to share would be great to look at to compare my current ideas to. My boss here is pretty much giving me a 'free reign' over my teaching matters so I do consider myself really lucky. I am limited by my technical skill though (which is why I didnt apply for Keith's job by the way!) but my enthusiasm for trying new things is what I pride myself in.
