[Year 12 IT Apps] The census and data privacy

It felt like a history lesson the other day when I was explaining the Australia Card and how people strongly objected to it.  Now you can’t do your tax online without creating a mygov account which basically wants you to link everything (Centrelink, medicare, ATO etc).

It made me feel very old that they didn’t really see what the big deal was, I guess cuz they’ve grown up with devices tracking their movements.
