Hi all, 

Attached is an introductory basic website making 101 series of lessons I take my Year 9 classes through very slowly at the start. By starting really slow and basic I found they all manage to grasp the concepts of HTML being "containers/boxes" for content, never overlap, and can have different properties depending on the box. I've had a lot of luck with this approach, with many of my non-IT IT students "understand something in IT for the first time"; others tend to accelerate through it and branch off into googling code ideas, codeacademy.com, bootstrap CSS and teacher support. I've yet to write the next steps (CSS as separate style sheets, headers, tables/divs ) but actually they're technically not really necessary to build a working website if that's the only outcome you want.
