Hello Laurie

Hi Kim,

If your kids have the netbooks with the Edustar image or if your desktops have the Edustar image then you have MS Expressions Web 3.0 which is comparable to Dreamweaver CS5 and FREE for DEET students and teachers! I have prepared a couple of How-Tos that I would be happy to send you and MS have prepared a lot of training material. My students used EW3 last year and found it very powerful. It is standards compliant and HTML5/CSS3 ready. My year 11s created a working site in three periods using its templates feature.

Email me OT if you are interested.

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 - Illustrated Introductory - Missing CD

Hi there folks,

After a 6 year hiatus from teaching U3/4 IPM/ITA I am now back into it again this year.

As a part of the necessary preparation for this I have had to update (somewhat) my web creation credentials so Dreamweaver here we come (all comments about how long it's taken me to do this aside).

At the school I am at I have access to a copy of the Dreamweaver MX 2004 installation CD and a copy of 'Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 - Illustrated Introductory' by Sherry Bishop as shown in the pic below.

My problem is that the accompanying CD to the book is missing (upon which the book is based) and I am keen to get hold of a copy of at least some of the files that would have been on the CD.

I am primarily interested in the 'Data Files for Students' as it is these that form the backbone of the course covered in the book.

The book says that, if the CD is missing, then these resources can be downloaded from www.course.com<http://www.course.com>.

Unfortunately, the book being as 'old' as it is, is no longer listed at www.course.com<http://www.course.com> and the CD resource file isn't either.

I have googled and googled to locate the Data Files elsewhere but with no success.

Camperdown is a long way from anywhere that may even have a secondhand copy of this book available and there are none currently listed anywhere in the world on eBay either.

Is there anyone out there in ITA land that has a copy of this book and the accompanying CD that could help me, perhaps by way of a .zip file of the Data Files for Students?

Cheers,
