[Year 12 IT Apps] IT Apps textbook

I make my students keep doing the test until they get 100% then print it
as a PDF and submit it to me as proof. There is nothing stopping them
from cheating as such but as a revision task it works pretty well.

I used to do the same as Stuart, use the online tests as a basis for a
written test.

However, with some questions I would allocate marks for the students to
justify why they chose that "multiple choice" answer (2 marks). It also
developed the test into something that would take longer than 15 minutes
to do.

I had a similar issue with the old textbook - they'd click on "check
your answers" in one window, then answer the questions in another.

I made them into word documents and printed them out and had them do it
under test conditions. Afterwards I'd get them to switch over, then mark
each others work as I call out the answers, and the page number they
need to refer to to brush up.

Hi

Does anyone else use the online chapter questions for the Potts
textbook?

I've got my class (and same problem also with the Unit 1 online
questions) to do the questions but one of the kids worked out today that
if he views the source code for the webpage, that the answers are
listed. Hardly worth getting them to do the tests (for a bit of
revision) if the answers are literally in front of them. Any
suggestions?
