techniques for acquiring data via websites is a bit strange. The technique you are using is basically reading someone else's stuff!

Do they mean getting a whole heap of data from somewhere on the internet and then identifying techniques to sort out what is useful?

Or possibly identifying which are the most useful ways of getting information from websites (ie, ways of phrasing your search, looking at "top ranked" matches first etc.) That could also fit the criteria.

Glad I'm off the ITA train next year, hopping aboard the Year 11 one!

good luck everybody!

Hi all. Part of U3O2 next year is "Techniques for acquiring data via websites" and I'm getting brain drain trying to work out a variety of methods.

All I can think of is:

a. Further information about an item on sale at an auction site.

b. A PDF brochure with specifications on a new car.

c. Information on the best time to plant cabbages from a wiki.

d. Get a large movie file from a trusted co-worker's website.

For no reason, my friend became a square, flat surface with four legs. I rushed him to hospital. His condition is table.
