Hi Claire,

Being new to teaching the course, I thought I'd make use of our web portal and created a virtual classroom for the class. (I thought it would also be a good demonstration of a Virtual Team environment ....) I can modify the access dates for it to effectively turn it on and off. Inside the classroom, I've made a folder for each student and set the permissions such that only that student and myself can view/edit each student's folder. There's also a folder with general information (such as a copy of the task and the assessment rubric) for students to refer to. I've also told my class that I'm backing up their work after each session to keep a log of their progress.

Regards,

Chris
