Hi all,

The NYTimes today, "music-fan-community Avril Bandaids aims to topple 
Evolution of Dance, which, with over 89,900,000 views, has long reigned

The plot appears to be working - the Girlfriend music video is now 
labelled the second most viewed video of all time, fast approaching 
Evolution of Dance with a view count of almost 89,200,000.

Once obtaining the most-viewed crown, the Avril fanatics plan to
make Girlfriend the first ever YouTube video with 100,000,000 views."

The Times also report that Japanese anime Evangelion has more downloads,
