[Year 12 IT Apps] Girls Event & Careers in ICT Expo

Hi everyone (and apologies for the cross posts),

 

After a great deal of effort (and with regret), we have had to shelve plans
for our Girls in ICT event that was to take place on the 30th July.  Our
Careers in ICT Expo which is taking place on the 2nd August has caused many
of the issues - as it was competing with the Girls event for exhibitors and
presenters.  Later this year the 'Go Girl' event will be held again at
Deakin University, so it may be a better idea for us to reconvene our event
for early next year.

 

On a positive note, our Careers in ICT Expo is shaping up to be a very
exciting event and I would strongly encourage all of you to put the word out
there - especially if you want to generate some excitement and enthusiasm
amongst your students.  We have an impressive line-up of presenters and
exhibitors - not to mention - some great prizes on offer!
