It will be sad to miss your regular contributions when you retire.  

Hopefully you can retain your interest in IT and the mailing list in the future and be able to contribute at various times.

Maybe we need to create a new group for the retired to keep one another abreast of developments in IT for our mutual benefit.

As you mentioned the kids taught you a lot on the way.  I think we all work in a collaborative teaching environment and it should not stop because we reach retirement.

But lets not fair thee well yet.  We still have time to continue your valuable contributions.
