It could be a challenege doing a quick bit of learning about a 
programming/scripting language, but don't forget that the structure of this 
task makes it straightforward to teach. It's like a good ol' fashioned 
folio: students need only do a series of tasks that allow them to 
demonstrate increased; they don't necessarily have to solve a complete 
programming  problem. (They also have to write a bit about career pathways.)

Also Andrew, the outcome does not require the exclusive use of ActionScript 
but any programming or scripting language; egs from study design: 
JavaScript, ActionScript, Java, VisualBasic, php

1990 - last time I did any programming was in 1983 - programme called SAS - 
I am so in the same boat and absolutely dreading it. Any VITTA  sessions 
coming up please
