[Year 12 IT Apps] Year 8 Multimedia

Kahootz is one place to start, especially if the students have no experience
in multimedia. Although Kahootz really doesn't necessarily teach multimedia
well, it does give kids the basic principles such as a stage and objects
which can be edited. There are tutorials and activities on the kahootz site
www.kahootz.com.au <http://www.kahootz.com.au/> .

If you want to use flash, there are a great set of 20 video clips on a site
called www.kidzonline.com <http://www.kidzonline.com/> . These are presented
by a flash expert, a little corny but only run for about 5 mins each and
cover a particular function of flash in each one. You will need to register
and get the licence for the clips.

There are also heaps of flash tutorials, activities on the net.

Good luck

Subject: [Year 12 IT Apps] Year 8 Multimedia

Hi everyone, I'm a graduate teacher and have been given the subject Year 8
Multimedia to teach in 2008.
I know this is a list for IT Apps, but I thought I would try a number of
lists because of your expert knowledge.
Is anyone able to send or suggest some lessons/assessment/activities?
Thanks,
Jenna
