[Year 12 IT Apps] Excel Question

Hi David

Attached is an illustration of how to save the date when an order is made rather than the current date =now().

It may be useful for students to view the process with the screen dumps provided.

You will notice the current date and time in cell A1. Cell A3 is a copy and paste of cell A1.

In cell A5 you will notice that there is a significant time difference in the time. The data in cells A3 and A5 were copied in the same timeframe (except for a few seconds).

I have noticed that the time has stalled in cells A1 and A3. To demonstrate the difference in time I found that if I typed =now() in another cell, say F1, the dates in A1 and A3 changed to the current time.
