this is not a usual IP&M or IS post but I thought some of you may not be

negotiated a very reasonable phone plan with OPTUS a few years ago. The
plan has changed a few times over the years (your original conditions still
apply to a plan that you took out). Currently OPTUS are offering a SIM
only plan. You pay 12 cents per 30 seconds to all phones (mobile and fixed)
within <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns =
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region
w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
No monthly minimum spend and no call connect charge. </SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial"> GST is
extra making it 13.2 cents per 30 seconds. </SPAN><SPAN

the SIM then you do not pay any monthly charges. You can cancel at any
