Stephen

As mentioned in a previously posted email, we are in the process of
transferring over to the new study design material on our website
(should be available next week). If we post information relating to both
the current and the reaccredited study design, there is a potential for
confusion and problems. As has always been the practice, when we are at
the end of an accreditation period for a study design, we wait until the
examinations have been completed and then we begin the transferring
process (backstage), in readiness for the reaccredited study design. I
appreciate your frustrations, but it's a temporary problem. So, just
like the current situation, all material that is relevant to the
reaccredited study design will be housed together on the website, so it
will be a one-stop-shop and your stress levels won't be unduly raised.

Just as an aside, notices were posted on this list when the Bulletin was
released, and it is good practice for all VCE teachers to read the
Bulletin each month.

Sorry for the long winded response, but there are always good reasons
why we do what we do.

Regards

Paula

Sorry Paula, but classic example of why we need some commitment from
VCAA to maintain a coherent complete current copy of VCAA "legislation"
online in one place.

It just puts unnecessary strain and stress on teachers if they
continually worry that downloading the documents from the VCAA site
(e.g. study design and assessment advice) is no enough/ They have to
comb through every VCAA bulletin issued since the design was released
(perhaps years) and integrate any changes by hand themselves....

Surely there is a better way... Have I missed it ???
