John, Russell

My apologies to you and others who were unable to attend. I realise that the
timing was difficult for many. Due to the rapidly growing interest in game
programming, I chose to run the session at the earliest possible date, and
to keep it simple, a short evening session. I am aware that this was
particularly difficult for those in the country.

The notes from the seminar are on the web,

My notes, how I present Gamemaker to primary school kids are at
http://edrington.haileybury.vic.edu.au/computerclub/computerclub/Gamemaker%2
0Lesson%20Plan.doc

Bill Kerr's clickball tutorial for secondary students is at
http://intranet.woodvillehs.sa.edu.au/kerrbi/g/int.htm
(the server is down for maintenance as I write this but it will come back)

More links plus my thoughts on the pedagogical significance of game
programming are at
http://www.freewebs.com/schoolgamemaker/

There will be more gamemaker sessions at times yet to be determined.

Finally, my thanks to the attendees and to Bill Kerr and Roland Gesthuizen
for their support.

Tony Forster
