Moodle is also a portal/communication tool, but edu focused. It is
probably better suited to a educational environment and will readily
integrate and run on most school file servers. Some are even running
this on the VITTA openlab server <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moodle">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moodle</a><br>

This is not to say that schools have been able to make good use of
other packages or even built their own. I guess what counts is how
teachers use this any virtual learning environment with their classes.
