so ancient history is more relevant than IT in this day and age mmm how many
jobs for historians on mycareer.com.au this week - none (apart from those for
history/SOSE teachers), how many jobs in the IT industry this week - over
4000!!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr><FONT color=#800040 size=2>Oh well more aussie dollars sent
offshore to India, Russia and China because they had the foresight to give IT a
high profile in their education system. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr><FONT color=#800040 size=2>I need to put a submission together to
save IT in our school - any arguments for a non-integrated IT curriculum that I
can use would be much appreciated. You can send to my personal email - I will
put together a submission and then make it available to others going through
this horrific experience. Or any "horror stories" people have experienced when
IT has been integrated.</FONT></DIV>
