For some of my students it is the ONLY way I can get them to do revision
for the (test) sacs.

A great idea I got off (I think) Margaret Lawson some time back in the
last millennium. (back in the good old days at MLC)

Photostory (Microsoft product) makes presentations with music
backgrounds a breeze. One-click importing of as many slides as you like,
adjustable timing, panning and zooming, music changes at particular
slides, etc. Saved me a lot of time on a few presentations I've done.
Maybe there are other similar non-Microsoft products?

On another issue - what do people think about "cheat sheets" for Year 12
outcomes? Not allowed in exams so why use them or they're allowed in
some other subjects so why not or useful for some outcomes not for
others?

Cheers

Hi all

I'd like to be able to play/loop an MP3 (or other music file in the
background) throughout a Powerpoint presentation without the need to
have a CD sitting in the CD drive, i.e., incorporate or package the
music file so that it either accompanies the Powerpoint file and is
included/called by the presentation OR is embedded in the Powerpoint
file. Is this possible. I can get a sound file to play with an
individual slide or run a track from a CD for the duration of a
presentation but I'd rather embed the soundtrack without the need for
the CD. Anyone out there had any success on this?

Cheers
