Congratulations Robert - enjoy your time and grandchildren. Did you move back to Traralgon or stay in Melbourne?

I too cannot imagine giving up the list if I was to retire!

Hope you are all managing to stay cool today

Cheers

Hi all!

Well I shan't be there in ten years time!

Well past the magical 54/11, 8 years past, I decided at the end of last year
to hang up the boots.

I had moved from Traralgon to Melbourne in 2005 to take on a one year job at
Ashwood as replacement for a Physics teacher on LWOP. Had a good year, good
school and fantastic, supportive staff. At the end of the year, when I had
to make decisions about job applications, I decided that I did not need to
continue full time teaching when I could retire and do just some part time
work. So here I am: boots off and feet up, looking forward to a day or two
work each week.

Have spent most of the last two weeks reading two books for my grand
daughters and creating both an interactive computer version of my reading
and a non-interactive DVD version using Opus Pro 5.5 - a labour of love that
I have enjoyed immensely.

This list has been fantastic, as have other teacher lists/forums I have
belonged to. I shall continue as a member.

Lastly:

Roslyn,

Good luck in your new venture.

My wishes to you all for a very good 2006

Robert Hind
Retired
