Exciting Primary ICT Trails
Primary schools are invited to join the celebrations of National ICT Week at
Federation Square on Wednesday 27 July by participating in a choice of
workshops and tours. Primary teachers celebrate with your Year 5-6 students
by immersing them in the latest technologies used in education, art,
science, music and media plus much more.


Highlights of the Primary ICT program include:

*	National Sports Museum - Audience: Years 3-12
*	Live Intercultural Exchange between Australian and Japanese students
- Audience: Years 3-12
*	Games Activities with the Nintendo and Monash University Hands on
Games exploration  - Audience: Years 3-12

Sensational Secondary ICT Program

Highlights of the Secondary ICT program include:

 

*	The Digital Divas Club elective subject in schools - Audience: Years

will be available with course information for students to discuss future
pathways for studying IT - Audience: Years 9-12, teachers, parents, public
*	Developing Original Games for a world market - Audience: Years 9-12

Digital Montage Project
This exciting collaboration between National Gallery, DEECD and VITTA is
designed for ICT Week to showcase ways in which students can develop skills
in digital manipulation and develop knowledge of visual literacy through
visual tools. This project aims to include both primary and secondary
student participation. Launch of the mystery artwork by participating
schools and random prize draw. For more information:

ICT Industry Bus Tour
Have you ever wondered what career paths are available in the ICT industry?
The ICT Week Industry Bus Tour, to be held on Friday July 29, will see 40
